If you use something every day, it should be beautiful. And if you want to reach your fitness goals, you’re going to open your tracker every day.

Most fitness trackers take a dozen taps to log a meal. Many are riddled with ads. Others shout at you in aggressive type. I wanted something different. Something simple, powerful, and beautiful. Something I didn’t dread opening, or get frustrated by, three to five times a day.

I’ve been designing software for more than 15 years. Fit Shapes is the tracker I wanted for myself. And now I’m excited to share it with you. If you care about the quality of things you buy, this is for you. I hope you enjoy it.

See what matters today.

Fit Shapes shows your calories consumed against your active and resting burn. As the day goes on, your picture updates.

Illustrative Fit Shapes Today screen ending at 1,680 calories eaten and 2,050 calories burned against a 1,810-calorie target, with progress toward targets of 140 grams of protein, 62 grams of fat, and 190 grams of carbohydrates, 21 grams of fiber and 38 grams of sugar, and cards for Energy Balance and Trend Weight above the food log.
  1. 0 eaten915 burned

Your day is already in motion.

You’ve already burned some resting calories by the time you wake up. Go for a lift and active calories appear alongside them.

  2. 540 eaten1,120 burned

    Breakfast, logged.

Scan your smoothie bowl and instantly see your calories and macros logged.

  3. 1,680 eaten2,050 burned

    Dinner, logged.

Three meals in, you’re 130 calories under today’s target.

Targets that keep up with you.

Each week Fit Shapes compares what you logged with your weight trend and proposes adjustments as your pace drifts.

See where you’re headed

Forecast how far you are from your goals based on your current pace and progress. Fit Shapes focuses on trends so one heavy weigh-in doesn’t change your trajectory.

New targets, your call

When your pace drifts, you get a proposal for calories and macros. Accept it and next week’s targets update, or keep the ones you have.

Questions?

How does photo logging work?

Take a photo of your meal. Fit Shapes identifies each food, estimates the portion, and adds the meal to your log with calories and macros. You can change any item after it is logged.

How do Adaptive Targets work?

Once a week, Fit Shapes compares the food you logged with your weight trend. If your pace is faster or slower than the one you chose, it proposes new calorie and macro targets. You decide whether to accept them.

Does Fit Shapes work with Apple Health?

Yes. Fit Shapes reads your weight, body fat, and active energy from Apple Health.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Fit Shapes is on iPhone today.

Can I bring my history from another app?

Yes. Fit Shapes imports your food log and weigh-ins from MacroFactor, Cronometer, Lose It!, Cal AI, and MyFitnessPal, and daily food totals from Apple Health. Open Account in the app and select Import data.

Can I get a copy of my data?

Fit Shapes believes that your data belongs to you. You can export your entire history at any time. Even after you stop being a subscriber.
